The long, sweeping bend leaves more hook point exposed when a carp ejects your rig, giving the beaked point more opportunity to catch hold—even on simple presentations. The 20-degree out-turned eye is purpose-built for Chod rigs, Hinged stiff rigs, and fluorocarbon D-rigs.
