The BKK Big Bait is a medium-wire single hook built for presenting large natural baits with confidence — equally at home in fresh and saltwater.
The generously open hook bend gives bulky baits like fish strips, squid, or prawns plenty of room to sit naturally, without masking the point. This translates directly into reliable hooksets on hard-fighting species such as cod, pike-perch, wels catfish, or giant trevally (GT).
The upward-angled eye (45°) is designed specifically for snell knots, aligning the hook at an optimal angle under load so it rotates and penetrates quickly on the strike. The SS (Super Sharp) coating gives the point a smooth, low-friction surface that drives home cleanly even through tough jaw tissue.
