Prologic Density Distance Mono Schnur - 1000m monofile Karpfenschnur
incl. VAT, excl.
The Prologic Density Distance Mono is a high-performance monofilament mainline engineered for serious carp anglers who demand both casting distance and reliable strength. This 1000 m bulk spool in 0.33 mm / 6.15 kg gives you the confidence to fish big waters without compromise.
The Density Distance Mono is purpose-built to sink rapidly, pulling your line tight to the lakebed and keeping it out of the way of drift, weed, and boat traffic. A fast sink rate reduces bow in the line, giving you a more direct connection to your bite alarms and ultimately sharper indication — essential when carp fishing at range.
Improved production tolerances mean the Density Distance Mono comes in slimmer diameters than its predecessor, while a new conditioning treatment makes the line noticeably smoother and more supple. Despite this, it retains a firm outer surface that strikes the right balance between knot strength, abrasion resistance, and castability — peeling freely from the spool cast after cast.
The Density Distance Mono is available in three specifications across the 1000 m range. Match the diameter and breaking strain to your target species, water size, and rig setup:
0.28 mm / 4.54 kg — lighter rivers, intimate day-ticket lakes, margin fishing or stalking where a finer diameter gives a presentation edge
0.30 mm / 5.44 kg — all-round freshwater carp fishing, balanced casting and strength for most lake and river situations
0.33 mm / 6.15 kg — big-pit and distance work, snaggy or weedy venues, or wherever extra abrasion resistance and breaking strain are needed; ideal for longer sessions and larger carp
