Choose the lightest sinker that still reaches the bottom in your fishing conditions. These sinkers weigh 40 g each and flutter on the descent, so use this weight when it lets the rig reach the bottom without sinking unnecessarily quickly.
You can tie an extra single hook from a herring rig to the lower eyelet. The supplier suggests this for cautiously biting herring, creating another hook position below the sinker. The stated pack contents are 10 sinkers, so plan the additional hook separately.
You receive 10 red and white sinkers weighing 40 g each, with two eyelets per sinker. They are intended for herring rigs and paternosters in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and Norwegian waters. Choose your herring rig separately, as this is a sinker pack rather than a complete rig.

The Zebco Herring Sinker is red and white and shaped to flutter as it descends. This action keeps the herring rig in the fish's field of view for longer while it sinks through different depths. These sinkers are intended for herring fishing with multi-hook rigs in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and Norwegian waters.
Each sinker weighs 40 g. Choose a sinker as light as possible to let the rig flutter down, but heavy enough to reach the bottom in your fishing conditions. Whether 40 g is suitable therefore depends on being able to reach the bottom without unnecessarily speeding up the descent.
Each sinker has two eyelets. The lower eyelet allows you to tie on an extra single hook taken from a herring rig. The supplier suggests this option for cautiously biting herring, giving you another hook position below the sinker.
The pack contains 10 red and white sinkers, each weighing 40 g. The supplied items are sinkers, not complete herring rigs.
