They are intended for herring rigs and paternosters in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and other sea-fishing regions such as Norway. Their fluttering descent keeps the rig in view for longer as it passes through the depths where herring are feeding.
Use a sinker as light as possible for a fluttering descent, but heavy enough to reach the bottom. These sinkers weigh 60g each, so choose this version when that weight meets both requirements in your fishing conditions.
The lower eyelet lets you tie a single hook from a herring rig below the sinker. The supplier describes this extra hook as useful for cautious bites, so it offers an optional way to extend the rig without an integrated hook on the weight.
The pack contains ten red-and-white sinkers, each weighing 60g and fitted with two eyelets. The stated quantity refers to sinkers, not complete herring rigs.

Zebco Heringsbleie are red-and-white, 60g herring sinkers for sea fishing with herring rigs and paternosters. Their special shape produces a fluttering descent, keeping the rig in the fish's view for longer as it passes through different depths. The pack contains ten sinkers.
Choose a herring sinker as light as possible to let the rig flutter down, but heavy enough to reach the bottom. This version weighs 60g per sinker. It is intended for herring fishing in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and other sea-fishing regions, including Norway. The supplier also reports using it in Hvide Sande in Denmark and on the Schlei.
Each sinker has two eyelets. The lower eyelet allows a single hook taken from a herring rig to be tied below the weight. The supplier describes this extra hook as useful when herring bite cautiously. This is an optional addition to the rig, rather than an integrated hook on the sinker.
You receive ten red-and-white sinkers, each weighing 60g and fitted with two eyelets.
