Yes, the float has built-in weight and a stated weight of 12 g. The supplier does not identify this figure as buoyancy, so it should not be used as a confirmed bait or additional loading capacity.

The Zebco DB Series Pencil Loaded is a pre-weighted pencil float for traditional deadbait fishing. It lets you present a bait on or off the bottom as an alternative to ledgering where vegetation or shallow water makes that approach less suitable.
The DB Series uses hard, durable plane wood for a durable float body. The weight is built into the float, so this is a loaded model rather than an unweighted version.
This version is 13.5 cm long and has a stated weight of 12 g. One float is supplied. The stated weight is not specified as a buoyancy rating.
The supplier warns that incorrectly discarded plastic materials can harm the environment. Recycle plastic materials according to local regulations.
