No. The supplier specifies sea-trout spinning as well as active and passive trout fishing on lakes. It can therefore serve as a main line for these lake methods too, rather than being restricted to lure fishing.
Its semi-transparent colour makes the main line unobtrusive, particularly at the surface. This is useful when you want a discreet line for trout presentations, but semi-transparent does not mean fully invisible.
This spool contains 150 m of 0.06 mm line with a stated breaking strain of 3.6 kg. Compare the diameter and length with your reel's capacity and the stated strength with your intended setup before choosing it.

WFT TF8 Meerforelle & Forelle Trans is a braided main line for sea-trout spinning and active or passive trout fishing on lakes. Its semi-transparent colour makes the line unobtrusive, particularly when fishing at the surface.
The line has a tight, round eight-strand braid. It suits both lure fishing for sea trout and active or passive trout fishing on lakes, so its intended use is not limited to spinning.
This version combines a 0.06 mm diameter with a stated breaking strain of 3.6 kg and a spool length of 150 m. Use these figures to compare line strength and the amount of line needed for your reel.
