Yes, the supplier explicitly specifies sea fishing. This version has a stated breaking strain of 109 kg and a diameter of 0.64 mm, so check those specifications against your intended setup rather than choosing it on spool length alone.
The five-colour sequence changes every 10 m, and each colour repeats after 50 m. Counting the colour sections helps you estimate the length of line let out, but the colours do not directly measure fishing depth.
That depends on your reel's capacity for 0.64 mm line. The spool contains 600 m, so compare both diameter and length with the reel's capacity specification before deciding how much to load.

WFT Strong Multicolor is an eight-strand braided fishing line for saltwater angling. Its good visibility and five-colour sequence help you follow the line and estimate how much you have let out. The colour changes every 10 m, with each colour repeating after 50 m.
The tight weave and surface coating give the line its round profile. High knot strength is another stated feature, relevant to the knotted connections in your setup.
This version has a diameter of 0.64 mm, a stated breaking strain of 109 kg and a spool length of 600 m. Use the diameter and length to check your reel's line capacity when planning how much line to load.
