The Westin W8 Vertical Jigging is a spinning rod for vertical fishing for pike and zander. Its High Performance carbon blank combines sensitivity, strength and a fast response with low weight, helping you feel and control the lure during vertical presentations.
This M model measures 185 cm, weighs 100 g and has a casting rating of 14–28 g. It is designed to balance well with a medium-sized fixed-spool reel. The fine-pored EVA handle and grippy rubber butt cap provide a secure hold while working the lure.
Quattro cross carbon bands reinforce the handle section. The Fuji® SKTS reel seat has a screw-down upper hood reinforced with 1K carbon fabric to secure the reel. Fuji® SiC guides carry the line and are fixed with ProWrap™ thread wraps. Both the blank and reel seat are hand-painted with Fe2O3 iron-oxide paint, giving each rod its own pattern.
