Use jigs, hardbaits and softbaits within 9-35 g from cliffs, beaches or harbour walls. The 274 cm rod is designed for coastal predators including sea bass, cod and saithe, so match your lure to the species within that weight range.
The Fuji® DPS reel seat is intended for a fixed-spool spinning reel. The supplier recommends sizes 3000-4000 for coastal fishing with 9-35 g lures, so choose a spinning reel for this setup.
The two-section rod has a transport length of 140 cm and includes a neoprene rod bag. Check that your storage or vehicle can accommodate this length rather than assuming a compact travel format.

The Westin W8 Precision Cast is a sea fishing rod for working jigs, hardbaits and softbaits from cliffs, beaches and harbour walls. Its responsive Toray® Torayca® T1100GC, T800 & M40JB carbon blank transmits lure movement and bites while providing reserves for playing saltwater predators.
This M model is 274 cm long, has a casting weight of 9-35 g and weighs 128 g. It is intended for shore jigging for cod, saithe and sea bass, as well as casting for mackerel, garfish and barracuda. Choose lures within the stated casting range. The Fuji® DPS reel seat holds a fixed-spool spinning reel securely. The supplier recommends sizes 3000-4000 for this coastal setup and either a 0.30-0.45 mm fluorocarbon leader or a light wire trace, depending on the species and lure. The rod primarily addresses experienced coastal anglers, but anglers with basic sea-fishing knowledge can also use it.
Fuji® SIC Gunsmoke stainless-steel guides use a Low-Rider multi-guide layout to reduce tangles and guide the line in side winds. The compact, non-slip EVA grip is UV- and saltwater-resistant for a secure hold during long sessions. The guides and tangle-free stainless-steel hook keeper are also suitable for saltwater use. A Fuji® BRC rubber butt cap completes the handle.
The two-section rod packs down to 140 cm, so allow for that length when choosing transport space. It comes with a neoprene rod bag and triangular cardboard packaging. An individual serial number identifies the rod.
