The two-piece 264 cm rod packs down to 135 cm. A neoprene rod bag is included, so plan storage around that packed length.

The Westin W8 Precision Cast is a sea fishing rod for casting lures from shore or boat. Its light carbon blank and sensitive tip help detect subtle bites while keeping repeated casting comfortable.
This 264 cm model has a 9–35 g casting weight and an M (Medium) rating. It suits spoons, softbaits and small jigs, including light pirking within that weight range. The supplier names sea bass and garfish, cod and saithe, mackerel, barracuda and tuna as target species. Select the lure and fishing situation around the stated casting range rather than treating that species list as a heavy-tackle rating. The Fuji® DPS reel seat holds a fixed-spool reel securely under load. The supplier recommends reel sizes 3000–4000. The rod is suitable for newcomers with basic casting skills as well as experienced anglers.
Toray® Torayca® T1100GC, T800 and M40JB carbon fibres form the blank. At 126 g, the rod keeps weight down during long casting sessions. Fuji® SIC Gunsmoke stainless-steel guides provide tangle-resistant, low-wear line guidance. The compact, non-slip EVA grip resists saltwater and UV exposure for coastal use. A corrosion-resistant stainless-steel hook keeper reduces tangling when securing a hook. Each rod has an individual serial number.
The two-piece construction reduces transport length to 135 cm, making the rod easier to carry than a one-piece model. A neoprene rod bag and triangular cardboard packaging are included. After saltwater use, rinse the guides, reel seat and blank with fresh water to remove salt and dirt.
