This spinning rod is designed for perch and light zander fishing with T&C (Texas and Carolina rigs) and other light artificial lures. Its lightweight Toray blank and Fuji components combine sensitivity with low weight and balance for repeated lure presentations.
The 215 cm M model has a 7–21 g casting weight and weighs 119 g. Westin recommends a size 1500–2500 reel for balance. It suits anglers using a range of finesse techniques rather than heavy lure setups.
The component specification lists a Toray® Torayca® T1100GC & M40JB blank, finished in FE2O3 iron oxide. Tangle-free Fuji® SIC guides help reduce line tangles during casting. The Fuji® T2C carbon reel seat and custom-designed 360° screw-down carbon hood secure the reel. A Seaguide® Arc Hook 2.5 hook keeper provides a place to park the hook between fishing spots.
The two-piece rod packs down to 119 cm for transport. A neoprene rod bag is included, and the rod is supplied in a recyclable triangular cardboard box. Each rod has its own unique serial number.
