This M version measures 2.15 m and casts 7–38 g, giving you the key limits for choosing lure weights. The rod weighs 128 g. Westin recommends pairing it with a size 50 or 100 Westin BaitCaster reel, so choose a baitcasting setup rather than a fixed-spool spinning reel.
The Toray® Torayca® T1100GC & M40JB blank combines sensitivity with the power needed to control fish near cover. Tangle-free Fuji® SIC guides help reduce line tangles when casting. The Fuji® T2C carbon reel seat has a custom-designed 360° screw-down carbon hood to secure the reel. A Seaguide® Arc Hook 2.5 hook-keeper provides a place to park the lure between casts.
The blank has an FE2O3 iron oxide finish, and each rod carries a unique serial number.
The two-piece construction makes the rod easier to transport while retaining the feel of a one-piece rod. Its transport length is 119 cm. A neoprene rod bag and recyclable triangular cardboard box are supplied.
