The H model is rated for 12–38 g and designed for shad fishing. Keep the complete casting setup within this range when choosing your shad and rig.
The 223 cm rod separates into two sections with a transport length of 123 cm. Allow that length in your storage space. A neoprene rod bag and recyclable triangular cardboard box are supplied.

The Westin W8 Finesse Shad-T 2nd casting rod combines casting performance with sensitivity for fishing shads. Its Toray® Torayca® carbon blank and low-weight components are designed to transmit feedback and support hook-setting even at long range.
This H model measures 223 cm, has a casting weight of 12–38 g and weighs 139 g. Choose your shad setup within that casting range. Westin recommends a size 100 or 200 Westin Baitcaster reel, so this is a rod for a baitcasting setup rather than a fixed-spool reel.
Tangle-free Fuji® SIC guides help reduce line tangles during casting. The Fuji® T2C carbon reel seat holds the reel, with a 360° custom-designed screw-down carbon hood. A Seaguide® arc hook 2.5 hook-keeper provides a place to secure the hook between fishing spots. The blank has an FE2O3 iron oxide colour, and each rod carries a unique serial number.
The two-section rod has a transport length of 123 cm, useful when checking storage space. It comes with a neoprene rod bag for protection and a recyclable triangular cardboard box.
