The Westin W6 Popping ML is a sea spinning rod built for poppers and other artificial lures. Its reinforced Toray carbon blank and strong section joints provide a durable construction for fishing remote tropical waters. Intended targets include roosterfish (Nematistius pectoralis), Giant Trevally and Cubera Snapper (Lutjanus cyanopterus), as well as other tropical marine predators. It can also be used for large predators in other waters.
At 213 cm long, with a casting weight of 30–120 g, this model suits lures within that range. The rod weighs 352 g. SiC line guides and a saltwater-resistant EVA grip equip it for its marine use. The blank is reinforced with carbon fabric in a 90° plain weave for added strength.
