Torayca® High-Performance Carbon Blank

The blank is constructed from 40T+T1100 Torayca® High Performance Carbon — a dual-fibre layup that gives the rod exceptional backbone for moving heavy fish while maintaining enough tip sensitivity to detect subtle takes and bottom contact. The 2XH (Extra Extra Heavy) action is rated for 36–112g, making it well-suited to large metal jigs, heavy soft plastics, and deep vertical rigs fished from the boat.

Westin 3C Carbon Handle for Grip and Control

The proprietary 3C Handle (Close Contact Carbon) keeps weight low and puts you in direct contact with the blank throughout the fight. The Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat locks a size 200 baitcaster securely in place, while Fuji SiC guides ensure smooth, heat-resistant line flow even under sustained pressure. A Seaguide® TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper completes the ready-to-fish build.

• W6 Monster V-Jig-T 2nd — 1.93m (6'4"), XH, 28–84g: Slightly shorter and lighter-rated; ideal for moderate-depth vertical jigging, cod, pollock, and situations where a nimbler blank is an advantage in tighter spaces or with lighter jigs.

• W6 Monster V-Jig-T 2nd — 1.98m (6'6"), 2XH, 36–112g: The current model. Extra length and extra-extra heavy power class for maximum leverage on halibut, large cod, and deep pelagic species; handles the heaviest vertical and pelagic jig weights in the range.
