It is intended for predator lure fishing, including light softbaits and crankbaits. No lure-weight range is supplied, so the light-lure description does not establish a minimum casting weight for your setup.
This is the right-hand version, so you retrieve with your right hand. Choose this model if that is your preferred handle side, rather than treating Rh as a left-hand option.
The 8.1:1 gearing retrieves 81 cm per handle turn, useful for taking up slack between lure movements. Capacity is 120 m of 0.25 mm line, so use that diameter-specific figure when planning your spool fill.
The internal CBS6 six-shoe centrifugal brake controls spool rotation during casting. The Stay-On side plate and tension knob remain attached during adjustment, so there are fewer loose parts to handle at the water.
Yes, a protective hard case is supplied with the reel. You can use it to protect the reel during storage and transport without buying a separate case.
No questions asked, 30 days to return.

This right-hand baitcasting reel is designed for predator lure fishing, including light softbaits and crankbaits. Its 8.1:1 gear ratio and 81 cm retrieve per handle turn let you pick up slack quickly between lure movements. The size 50 BC version weighs 189 g and comes in Metallic Trooper with 7+1BB bearings.
The internal CBS6 six-shoe centrifugal brake controls spool rotation during the cast. The Stay-On side plate and tension knob remain attached during adjustment, reducing the risk of losing loose parts. The patented Fast Line Connector on the spool provides a line attachment point, while Line View lets you check the line on the spool. Capacity is 120 m of 0.25 mm line, a useful reference when choosing your line diameter and fill length.
The one-piece aluminium frame supports the gearing under load, with a carbon side plate completing the housing. A CNC handle with non-slip rubber grips helps you maintain your grip while retrieving. The reel has a GT-B gear system, a stainless-steel shaft and a Multi Stack drag with 9 kg maximum drag force. A drag clicker provides an audible indication when line is taken.
A protective hard case is included for storage and transport. The reel is lubricated with three different greases. The supplied information does not specify a lure-weight range, so suitability for light lures is not a stated minimum casting-weight rating.
