It is designed for predator lure fishing with light lures such as softbaits and crankbaits. The size 50 BC reel has an internal CBS6 centrifugal casting brake for controlling spool rotation. No numerical lure-weight range is supplied, so the evidence does not establish a minimum or maximum casting weight.
This is the right-hand retrieve version, identified as Rh in the supplied name. Choose it if you want to retrieve with your right hand rather than your left.
The stated capacity is 120 m of 0.25 mm line, and the 6.6:1 gearing retrieves 66 cm per handle turn. Use the capacity as a reference for that diameter and the retrieve figure to judge how much line each turn takes in.
No. The six-shoe CBS6 centrifugal brake controls the spool during casting, while the maximum fighting drag is 5.5 kg. The drag clicker makes line being taken against the drag audible, so casting control and resistance during the fight serve different purposes.
Yes. A protective hard case is included with the 189 g reel, providing a separate place to carry and store it when it is not mounted on a rod.

The Westin W4 SSG is a right-hand baitcasting reel for predator lure fishing, including light softbaits and crankbaits. Its internal CBS6 six-shoe centrifugal brake controls spool rotation during the cast. The one-piece aluminium frame provides a stable base for the mechanism.
This size 50 BC version is supplied as W4-Bc 50 Ssg Rh Metallic Trooper 7+1. It weighs 189 g and has a 6.6:1 gear ratio with 66 cm of line retrieved per handle turn. These figures help you match the reel to your preferred lure-retrieve pace. Line capacity is 120 m at 0.25 mm diameter, giving a concrete reference when choosing line. The reel has a 7+1BB bearing arrangement and a maximum drag of 5.5 kg.
The centrifugal casting brake is separate from the fish-fighting drag. The patented Fast Line Connector on the spool provides a line-attachment point, while Line View lets you check the line. The Stay-On sideplate and Stay-On tension knob remain attached during access and adjustment. A drag clicker provides an audible signal when line is taken against the drag. The supplier also specifies a Multi Stack drag system without identifying its washer material.
The aluminium frame is paired with a carbon sideplate and a stainless-steel shaft. A CNC handle with non-slip rubber grips helps you keep a secure hold while retrieving. The reel uses GT-B gearing and is lubricated with three different greases.
This is the right-hand retrieve version, so choose it if you want to turn the handle with your right hand. The Metallic Trooper finish identifies this version. A protective hard case is included for carrying and storing the reel.
