The 295 cm rod has a 60-160 g casting weight and Heavy (H) power. It handles surface lures, stickbaits, jigs and softbaits for cod, halibut, coalfish, barracuda, tuna and GT (giant trevally). It is intended for saltwater, not freshwater, and primarily for experienced sea anglers, although progressing beginners with saltwater experience can also use it.
The blank combines 80 % 30T and 20 % 24T carbon for casting power, sensitivity and strength. A Seaguide DPSM reel seat holds the reel securely during the fight, while Seaguide Tuxqlsg Gunsmoke guides support smooth line travel.
