The Westin W2 Jigging is a one-piece sea fishing rod for offshore and coastal jigging. Its responsive blank supports precise lure movements and bite detection when fishing deep water or strong currents from a boat.
The 183 cm MH (Medium Heavy) version has a maximum casting weight of 200 g and weighs 241 g. It handles long pirks, short speed jigs and heavy softbaits, with support for both slow-pitch and speed jigging. Intended target species include cod, halibut, coalfish, barracuda, GT (giant trevally) and tuna. It is designed specifically for saltwater use.
The blank combines 80 % 30T carbon with 20 % 24T carbon for stiffness and sensitivity, helping transmit jig movements and detect changes in lure contact. The balanced design and premium EVA grip support comfortable handling during repeated jigging movements.
