It is designed for traditional deadbait fishing for big pike on large waters. The powerful blank casts large and softer deadbaits over distance and supports hook-setting, making this a specialist bait-fishing choice rather than a lure rod.
Allow 156cm of transport space. Its two-section, semi-telescopic construction shortens the 360cm rod, so compare that packed length with your rod bag and vehicle.
The stated casting weight is up to 250g and the test curve is 3.75LBS. These specifications identify the version intended for large deadbaits and heavy rigs on big waters.

The Westin W2 Deadbait Big Water ST is a deadbait rod for large freshwater venues, especially when targeting big pike with very large baitfish. Its carefully designed blank allows even softer deadbaits to be cast long distances, while the powerful action provides backbone for setting hooks and controlling strong predators. Westin positions it as more powerful than the Lake & Pits rod.
The 360cm (12') model has a 3.75LBS test curve and a casting weight of up to 250g. It is intended for accurate casts with large deadbaits and heavy rigs from the bank or boat. The supplier also identifies zander as a target species. The 24/30 ton High Performance Carbon blank supports this demanding bait-fishing role.
A VSS Screw Down reel seat secures the reel, while S-TLSG premium guides guide the line during casting and playing fish. The full premium-grade EVA handle provides a continuous gripping surface. An integrated line clip is also fitted.
The two-section, semi-telescopic design reduces the 360cm fishing length to a stated transport length of 156cm. Allow that space in your vehicle or rod bag. Rod weight is 348g.
