The supplier recommends a size 1000 or 1500 fixed-spool spinning reel to balance the 91 g rod. It also suggests 0.06–0.10 mm braid with a short fluorocarbon leader for jigging. The Fuji® TCH reel seat holds the reel, while the anti-tangle Fuji® Titanium Torzite® K guides accommodate fine braid.
