The 7–21 g version is intended for perch, zander and light-lure pike fishing. It handles softbaits, small crankbaits, light jigs and Texas or Carolina rigs, with dropshot use also listed for perch. Choose lures and rigs within its casting range, rather than heavy pike lures.
A size 1500–2500 fixed-spool spinning reel is recommended. This is the supplier's balance recommendation for the 254 cm rod, so it is the supported size range when choosing a reel for repeated casting and finesse rig work.
The rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 137 cm. A round Cordura tube with a 3K carbon-look PU leather cover and velvet lining is included, so allow space for the protected sections rather than the full 254 cm assembled length.

The Westin W10 Finesse T&C 2nd is a finesse spinning rod for perch, zander and light-lure pike fishing. Its hand-built Torayca® T1100G+M46X+Nanoalloy® 55Ton carbon blank provides sensitive feedback from the lure, bottom and bites, useful when working small softbaits close to structure.
This 254 cm, two-section version casts 7–21 g. It covers small to medium softbaits, small crankbaits, light jigs, Texas rigs and Carolina rigs, with dropshot use also specified for perch. Applications include bottom-contact zander fishing and working groynes, current edges and depth changes in rivers. For pike, the supported application is light crankbaits rather than heavy lures. A size 1500–2500 spinning reel is recommended for balance.
X5 carbon-layer technology with four-axis carbon reinforcement supports direct feedback. The Nanoalloy carbon composite is described as improving toughness and resistance to impact without sacrificing sensitivity.
