The Westin Twin Cut Plier is a fishing cutting tool for split rings, hooks, braid and wire. Its ergonomic design and durable soft-touch grip provide comfort and control when cutting line or metal tackle during tackle preparation or adjustments while fishing.
The side-cutter function handles both braided line and metal components, so the same tool covers line trimming and cutting hooks, split rings or wire. Cutting split rings is a stated capability, not a claim that the pliers open them.
Westin states that the pliers are suitable for saltwater applications. They have SaltShield96 treatment and a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating. The version offered here is designated CR-V.
This version is 15 cm long, supplied in Black/Sand and has a net weight of 150 g. These dimensions help you judge how it fits into your tackle storage.
