The Westin Swim Glidebait (Gliding Bait) is a compact, heavy-bodied jerkbait built for serious predator fishing. At 12cm and 58g, this sinking model cuts through wind, lands precisely, and darts with a convincing side-to-side glide on every rod stroke.
Each sharp jerk of the rod sends this lure breaking laterally in a wide, sweeping glide — mimicking a wounded baitfish that predators find hard to resist. The sustained sinking behaviour lets you work it at depth, keeping the lure in the strike zone longer and covering a wide column of water during the pause.
The through-wire construction ensures the lure holds together even after a brutal take from a large pike. Lead-free weighting and a compact profile allow long, accurate casts even into a headwind — a real advantage when covering big water or windy reservoir banks. The fitted treble hooks are sharp and robust straight from the packet.
The Westin Swim Glidebait comes in three sizes and two buoyancies, making it adaptable to a wide range of predator-fishing situations. Select based on target species, water depth, and conditions.
10cm / 34g — Sinking (RF Spezial, RF Olive, Didis Crazy Perch): Lighter option; ideal for perch, zander, and smaller pike; easier to work on medium jerkbait rods; best in shallower water or where a smaller profile is needed.
12cm / 58g — Sinking (RF Olive, Didis Crazy Perch, 3D Official Roach): The heavy sinking model for pike and large predators; cuts wind effortlessly; reaches depth quickly; suits open water, large rivers, and deep reservoirs. The 3D Official Roach colourway is the current product.
12cm / 53g — Suspending (RF Special, Bluegrass, Didis Crazy Perch): Hovers in the water column after each pause; excellent for targeting suspended or cold-water pike that need longer look times; ideal when fish are less aggressive.
