Rinse it with clean water and let it dry fully before putting it in the tackle box. Check the treble hooks for rust and sharpness and replace them when needed, so worn hooks are not left unchecked before the next trip.
The 12 cm, 53 g version is intended for freshwater pike, zander and large perch. Work it along edges and structure or around underwater obstacles. Its weight also supports longer casts and control in moderate wind on larger waters.
Use individual sideways rod strokes followed by short or long pauses. The lure glides sideways and suspends between strokes, letting you slow the presentation without an immediate rise or fall. Vary the stroke tempo. No numerical running depth is specified.
No. Delivery contains one lure in one of seven special colours, not seven lures. The individual colour is unspecified, so the listing does not establish a particular colour choice.
A medium-stiff to stiff rod with enough backbone helps initiate the glide. The supplier recommends braid with steel or heavy fluorocarbon for pike and also mentions strong monofilament leaders for zander and perch. Check your setup against the lure's 53 g weight, as no precise rod rating or leader diameter is supplied.

The Westin Swim Glidebait Christmas Edition 26 is a suspending glidebait for freshwater pike, zander and large perch. Rod strokes produce broad sideways glides that imitate an injured or fleeing baitfish. Between strokes, its neutral buoyancy keeps it suspended, allowing a slower presentation without the lure immediately rising or sinking.
Work the lure with individual sideways rod strokes followed by short or long pauses. This creates an underwater walk-the-dog action. Slow retrieves with pauses let you work along edges and structure or around underwater obstacles. Vary the pace of the strokes to adjust the presentation. The supplier also describes longer pauses for zander in deeper layers, but gives no numerical running depth.
This version measures 12 cm and weighs 53 g. It is intended for pike as well as zander and larger perch. Its weight supports longer casts and control in moderate wind, useful when covering larger waters.
Use a medium-stiff to stiff rod with enough backbone to initiate the gliding movement. The supplier recommends braided main line with a steel or heavy fluorocarbon leader for pike. Strong monofilament is also mentioned as a leader option for zander and perch. No specific rod rating or leader diameter is given.
The Christmas Edition has a conspicuous special colour scheme. The delivery contains one lure in one of seven special colours, not a set of seven. The supplied colour is not individually specified.
Rinse the lure with clean water and let it dry completely before storing it in a tackle box. Check the treble hooks regularly for sharpness and rust, and replace them when needed.
