Westin used high-resolution prints derived from actual scanned roach images, paired with hand-painted details, to achieve a level of authenticity rarely seen in soft baits. The hard foam core in the head section gives the lure structural rigidity, while the reinforced mesh joints allow a fluid, natural S-shape swimming action that activates from as slow as 0.8 knots (1.5 km/h) — well within a slow troll or a steady retrieve.
