The Westin Pro Stinger Spikes are designed to work with standard stinger hook rigs. The adapters grip the stinger line at the eye and anchor into your soft bait. They work with any hook size that fits your lure and target species.
Traditional stinger rigs tie the secondary hook directly to the lure body, which can reduce casting distance and create dangling lines. Stinger spikes fix the attachment point cleanly within the lure body, eliminating line tangle and keeping hook points completely free.
Stinger spikes are designed specifically for soft baits, rubber fish, and jigs where the barb can penetrate the material. They cannot be effectively used on hard plastic or wooden lures. For hard lures, use traditional loop knots or clip attachments.
Each pack contains five stinger spikes. This gives you several adapters to rig different lures or replace worn spikes as needed.
The spike does create a small puncture in your soft bait, but this is intentional and necessary for secure grip. Most soft plastics are durable enough to withstand multiple uses at the same puncture point. Replace baits if the material becomes too damaged around the spike.
