These 2cm spikes work best with softbaits 8–15cm long. For very large baits (over 20cm), you may need longer spikes. For tiny baits under 5cm, smaller alternatives are better suited.
Thread your stinger line through the eye at the top of the spike. Then gently push the spike into your soft bait at a slight angle. The barbs will grip and hold the spike firmly in place.
Yes, they work with any soft-bodied lure including crankbaits, swimbaits, and soft jerkbaits. They do not work well with hard plastics or wooden lures, which don't grip the barbs.
