It is designed for deadbaits and pieces of fish when targeting freshwater predators such as pike and zander. The bait holder and loop fixing support secure long casts, making this a deadbait setup rather than a soft-lure stinger.
The pack contains one finished M trace, 65 cm long, rated at 14 kg (30lbs), with hook sizes #4 + #1/0. Use these dimensions and hook sizes to check whether the supplied configuration suits your planned bait presentation.
The supplier lists both barbed and semi-barbed options for the range but does not specify which applies to this version. If your venue restricts hook barbs, confirm the exact configuration before choosing it.

The Westin Long-Cast Rig Single Hook is a finished steel-wire trace for presenting deadbaits and pieces of fish to predators. Its bait-holder single hook and loop fixing are designed to hold the bait securely for long casts. It suits freshwater pike and zander fishing, including pressured waters where bait presentation matters.
The 1X7 construction uses seven-strand steel wire rated at 14 kg (30lbs). Extra-strong, ultra-sharp hooks are paired with a bait holder to keep the bait in position during casting. Camouflage crimp sleeves keep the connections discreet.
The M version is 65 cm long and has the supplied hook-size combination #4 + #1/0. One finished trace is included, with a net weight of 10 g. These specifications identify the supplied setup for deadbait or fish-piece presentations. The supplier describes both barbed and semi-barbed options in the wider range but does not identify the barb configuration of this version.
