The Anti Twist Rig (ATR) design addresses one of the biggest problems in halibut fishing: a spinning baitfish that coils your mainline. The specially constructed lead body and rig geometry work together to let your bait rotate freely without transferring that rotation up the line, so you spend more time fishing and less time re-rigging.

Hook Setup Built for Big Halibut

A strong single hook in size 7/0 takes the baitfish mount, while the PermaSteel PS treble hook in size 3/0 acts as a stinger to convert short strikes. The 1 mm high-quality nylon running the full 190 cm length gives enough stretch and abrasion resistance to handle powerful fish along rough coastal drop-offs and deep offshore grounds.
