The Westin Bulldog is a compact trout spoon designed by Ole Gregersen that casts like a missile, slices through wind, and delivers an irresistible slow-spinning action — exactly what lake trout are looking for.
When trout drop below the surface layer, most light spoons struggle to follow. At 7g and 3.9cm, the Bulldog's unique keel keeps it tracking true and spinning aggressively at depths beyond 1 metre, putting your lure right in the strike zone without sacrificing action.
Despite its compact profile, the Bulldog's weight distribution allows long, accurate casts even in crosswinds. Slow-retrieve presentations are smooth and consistent — no roll, no twist — which is critical on pressured put & take (P&T) venues where trout have seen everything.
