It is intended for predator fishing, including perch, zander, pike and asp. Jigging activates the darting and rolling movement promoted by the flat aspirin-shaped head, while the long bucktail fibres provide lifelike movement and retain their slim profile.
The pack contains two 7158 jig hooks with bucktail dressing in Firetiger. Each weighs 3.5g and has a size 2/0 hook, so these are the specifications to compare with your planned presentation before ordering.
Use pliers or a hook remover when handling the sharp hooks, and cover the points when they are not in use. Inspect for damage, bent points and corrosion before fishing, then store the jigs dry in a secure box to protect the hooks and keep them out of reach of unsupervised children and pets.

The VMC MOONTAIL JIG is a bucktail-dressed jig hook for predator fishing, including perch, zander, pike and asp. Its oversized, flat aspirin-shaped head promotes darting and rolling movement when jigged, while the elongated bucktail fibres retain a slim profile and produce lifelike movement.
The head shape gives the jig its darting and rolling action as you work it. The long bucktail dressing maintains its shape during the presentation, and extra-large holographic 3D eyes add a realistic visual detail. The Technical Locking Curve (TLC) hook shape is designed to improve hook sets and hold fish securely. The hook has a BN (Black Nickel) coating.
The 7158 version supplied here weighs 3.5g, has a size 2/0 hook and comes in Firetiger. The pack contains two dressed jig hooks. Use the weight, hook size and colour to check that this version matches your intended presentation.
Check the hook and line attachment before each use, and do not use damaged, bent or corroded hooks. Use pliers or a hook remover to reduce the risk of puncture injuries. Keep the hook points covered when not in use, store the jigs dry in a secure tackle box and keep them away from unsupervised children and pets. Keep other people and animals clear when casting. Use only for fishing in accordance with local regulations, and do not leave tackle or packaging in nature.
