It was developed for large rainbow trout in bigger trout ponds and lakes. Its long handle and large guides help with long casts on these waters, and it can also be used for zander and sturgeon.
The 390 cm rod is rated for 18–40 g, so match your casting load to that range. It has three sections and a transport length of 136 cm, which determines the space needed in a rod bag or vehicle.
The large guides stay free of ice for longer, helping maintain a clear line path in cold conditions. This delays icing rather than preventing it entirely.
