The Spro Salty Beast Nord Jig Bait Fast is a sea fishing rod for heavy jigs, pirks and rigs from a boat in northern seas. Its powerful, fast carbon blank is designed to handle large fish at depth, including cod, halibut, ling, tusk and redfish on Norwegian offshore trips.
The 210 cm rod has a stated casting weight of up to 600 g for heavy sea-fishing presentations. The strong yet light carbon blank keeps the rod weight to 298 g. A non-slip EVA grip provides a secure hold while working heavy tackle and playing fish. The rod has seven guides.
The two-piece construction reduces the transport length to 109 cm, making the rod easier to carry and stow on the way to the boat.
