The Spro Red Arc is an all-round spinning reel (front-drag fixed-spool reel) built for European predator anglers targeting pike, zander and perch with artificial lures. It pairs a robust Tuff Body aluminium housing with a light graphite rotor, so long sessions of casting softbaits and hardbaits never feel like hard work.
The Red Arc is designed around the needs of the modern spin fisher. A fast, responsive rotor, infinite anti-reverse and a reinforced bail system transmit every bite directly to the rod — ideal for jigging shads, twitching jerkbaits or winding crankbaits over weed edges.
Inside sits a wormshaft gearbox running on zinc-alloy and brass gears, driven by a stainless-steel main shaft. An aluminium drag knob with a protective seal keeps grit out of the front-drag washers, so the reel stays smooth season after season.
A machined aluminium spool, CNC-milled screw-in handle and a 6+1 bearing layout deliver a direct, quiet retrieve. That level of feedback lets you stay in contact with a soft plastic as it drops and pick up the slightest pickup on the fall.
