The Spro Freestyle Dropshot'R (Dropshot Rod) is a purpose-built spinning rod that gives predator anglers the sensitivity and control they need to fish the dropshot rig effectively at 2.70 m and a 5–24 g casting weight range.
The solid tip design with a fluorescent white tip makes even the subtlest takes immediately visible and transmissible to your hand. The tip is soft enough to animate a dropshot finesse presentation naturally, yet the rod's 24t carbon blank provides the backbone needed to set the hook and control fish confidently.
Behind the reel seat sits a soft TPU grip shaped specifically to hold dropshot weights in place between casts — a small but genuinely useful detail that keeps your rig tidy and ready. The ergonomically formed 3D grip reduces fatigue during long sessions of repeated lifts and pauses typical of dropshot technique.
