No. Spomb E Braid is designed to be spooled directly onto a Spomb reel and used without a separate leader or shock leader. This removes an extra leader connection from the setup. This capability is stated for its intended use, carp baiting with a Spomb.
The line floats after the cast, helping with line management, distance control and precise opening of the Spomb. Its white colour remains easy to see in low light and at longer distances, helping you follow the line when repeatedly feeding the same spot.
The supplier specifies all standard Spomb sizes, including large and heavily filled Spombs, for this 0.26 mm line with a stated breaking strain of 15.9 kg (35 lb). You receive 200 m, which is the available length to match against your reel's line capacity.

Spomb E Braid is a soft, floating braided line developed for feeding carp with a Spomb. It can be spooled directly onto a Spomb reel and used without a separate leader or shock leader, removing the need to tie an extra leader connection before baiting.
The line stays on the water's surface after the cast, helping you manage the line and control the baiting distance. Its white colour makes it easy to follow, including in low light and at longer distances, so you can keep track of the feeding spot during repeated casts. The floating line also helps with controlled, precise opening of the Spomb.
This version has a diameter of 0.26 mm and a stated breaking strain of 15.9 kg (35 lb). The supplier specifies suitability for all standard Spomb sizes, including large and heavily filled Spombs. It is supplied in a 200 m length. Its stated application is Spomb baiting for carp, rather than a general-purpose line for other fishing techniques.
