The Spiderwire Stealth Smooth8 is a high-performance PE (polyethylene) braid built for anglers who demand sensitivity, strength, and long-distance casting from a single line. Available on a bulk 2000 m spool, it offers outstanding value for club spooling or re-spooling multiple reels.
Eight PE fibre carriers are woven in a dense, uniform pattern to produce a noticeably round cross-section. This construction minimises line noise through rod guides, reduces wear on guide rings, and contributes to the smooth, consistent lay on your reel that experienced anglers appreciate during long sessions.
A thin layer of high-durability microcrystalline polymer is applied over the braid. The coating smooths out surface irregularities, further reducing friction during the cast and through the guides. It also improves knot security, so terminal connections hold firmly under pressure without the need for specialist knot techniques.
