Yes. The goal-post-style buzz bars and banksticks can be used without the base on softer ground. This alternative setup relies on ground that allows the banksticks to be inserted.
A padded, fold-over bag made from 100% polyester is included. It allows your bite alarms and butt grips to remain attached to the supports when packed away, so you do not need to remove those fittings for transport.

The Sonik Herox 3 Rod Pod holds three rods for carp fishing. Its stable, lightweight aluminium frame sets up quickly, with adjustable length and height to adapt the rod support to your swim.
The pod measures 42.5 × 68–97 × 21.5–40 cm, with 17.5 cm reel spacing. Length and height adjustment let you change the position of the supports, while the reel spacing helps you judge whether your reel setup will fit. The frame has a matt black finish.
Use the complete rod pod or, on softer ground, use the goal-post-style buzz bars and banksticks without the base. This gives you an alternative support arrangement where the banksticks can be inserted into the ground.
The compact pod comes with a padded, fold-over transport bag made from 100% polyester. The bag allows bite alarms and butt grips to stay attached to the rod supports when packed away, reducing dismantling between sessions.
