Constructed from high modulus carbon, the 3.66 m (12 ft) two-piece blank combines a strong, commanding butt section with a sensitive tip. The through-action progressive taper loads smoothly under pressure, letting you steer heavy barbel away from snags while absorbing the surging runs that make the species so demanding on a rod.
The Avon-style tip excels at float fishing, rolling meat presentations, and static bait rigs — the three approaches most barbel anglers rely on. A special luminescent coating on the tip activates under a headlamp and glows in the dark, extending your session into low-light hours. Two clip-on isotope holders (small and large, compatible with 2.2 mm and 3 mm isotopes) are included so you can add a chemical night-light without modification.
