The Avon tip supports float fishing, rolling meat and static bait fishing for river barbel. You can choose between these presentations with the same rod, whose powerful butt and progressive through action help control large fish.
The Avon tip's luminous coating glows after exposure to a light source, such as a headtorch. Two clip-on holders, small and large, are also supplied for 2.2 mm or 3 mm isotope lights, giving you a mounting option for a compatible night light as well as the light-charged coating.
Allow for a transport length of 183 cm. The rod is 3.66 m long when assembled, weighs 350 g and has a supplier-listed 2+1 section configuration, so check that your storage or transport space accommodates its packed length.
No casting-weight rating in grams is supplied. This model is specified with a 1.75lb test curve, so use that as its stated rod rating rather than treating it as a maximum casting weight for your rig.
No questions asked, 30 days to return.

The Sonik ANGL-R Barbel is a rod developed for barbel fishing in rivers across Great Britain and Europe. Its high-modulus carbon blank combines a powerful butt section with a sensitive tip and progressive through action to help control large fish.
The Avon tip suits float fishing, rolling meat and static bait fishing, giving you different ways to present bait in a river. This Multi Tip model is 3.66 m long, has a 1.75lb test curve and weighs 350 g. The supplier lists its section configuration as 2+1 and its transport length as 183 cm, so allow that length when choosing storage or transport space.
M-Series guides are spaced to support the blank's progressive through action. An Anti-Frap tip guide helps reduce line wrapping around the tip, while the screw-down reel seat secures the reel. The slim cork handle provides a narrow grip for handling the rod.
The Avon tip has a luminous coating that glows in the dark after exposure to a light source, such as a headtorch. Two clip-on isotope holders, one small and one large, are supplied for attaching an isotope night light to the rod tip. They accommodate 2.2 mm or 3 mm isotope lights. The coating needs exposure to light, while the holders provide a separate mounting option for a compatible night light.
