It is designed for offshore fishing for cod, ling, halibut and other large sea fish, including fishing in Norway and Iceland. It can be fitted ahead of a pirk, making it suitable for pirk rigs targeting these fish.
The sturdy, freely rotating mechanism accommodates a fish turning on its own axis as it is pumped towards the surface. This helps reduce fish losses during the fight, although it does not guarantee that every hooked fish will be landed.
Each swivel is 3.4 cm long and the pack contains two. This gives you two swivels of the same length for your sea-fishing rigs.
