The Seika Pro Wild Spirit is a purpose-built 2-piece spinning rod developed for lure fishing targeting perch, combining a highly sensitive tip with a stiff, fast-recovering blank for confident control at every stage of the fight.
The rod's finely tuned tip transmits even the most subtle takes from cautious perch, while the stiff, fast blank provides the backbone needed to set the hook cleanly and steer fish away from cover. This combination allows soft lures and hard baits to be worked with equal precision.
At just 121g and with a casting weight of 2–15g, the Wild Spirit handles a broad range of perch tactics — from finesse rigs with small rubber shads and jigs through to crankbaits, small spinnerbaits, and spinjigs. The tip action cushions the powerful runs of hard-fighting perch, reducing the risk of hook pull during the retrieve.
Currently only one variant of the Wild Spirit is available. It is well suited to light perch fishing with lures between 2g and 15g on rivers, canals, and stillwaters where a sensitive yet responsive rod is needed.
