No. It was developed for trout fishing and is suitable for spinning, but the supplier also specifies use for landing other fish species. Compare its 30x40x40cm dimensions with the fish you intend to land rather than choosing it by species alone.
The net is size M, measures 30x40x40cm and has a 20 cm handle. Its transport length is 61 cm, which is the space to allow when deciding where to carry or store it.
The net floats, and its ergonomic handle has a non-slip coating for grip when landing fish. An elastic cord with a 360-degree buckle gives you a tethering option, so buoyancy and attachment are separate features you can use while handling it.
It uses a Shake & Dry net made from 100% polyester with a 10x5mm mesh. Use that mesh specification when comparing nets, rather than assuming it has rubber-coated mesh.

The Scierra Trout Net Floating is a landing net developed for trout fishing and suitable for spinning. Its buoyancy keeps it afloat if it enters the water, while the ergonomic handle with a non-slip coating helps you maintain your grip when netting a fish. It can also be used to land other fish species.
The black aluminium inline frame supports the net. The 20 cm handle provides a short grip for close-range netting. An elastic cord with a 360-degree buckle provides a flexible tethering option while handling the net.
This size M model measures 30x40x40cm and has a 10x5mm mesh. The Shake & Dry net is made from 100% polyester. These dimensions and the mesh size help you compare it with your netting requirements, without implying a fish-weight capacity.
The transport length is 61 cm, so allow that much space when planning how to carry or store the net.
