It is intended for pike, zander and perch. Twitches and jerks produce sideways darts and expose its flanks, while pauses leave it suspended horizontally. Alternate movement with stops to keep the lure in place between bursts, where the supplier reports bites often occur.
The 6.6 cm version weighs 5 g, runs at 0.5 m and has size 8 trebles. The 8 cm version weighs 8.5 g, runs at 0.7 m and has size 6 trebles. Choose the smaller version for a smaller profile and shallower presentation, or the larger one for a larger profile and slightly more depth. Both suspend on pauses.
Yes, the Twitch Minnow has a long-cast system designed to increase casting reach. This helps you reach distant spots and work them with twitches and pauses, although the supplier does not specify a casting distance.
The 6.6 cm version comes in Minnow, Lemon Back and Green Silver Ayu. The 8 cm version comes in Green Silver Ayu, Perch (Barsch) and Roach (Rotauge). Choose Green Silver Ayu if you want the same colour pattern in both sizes. No specific water or light conditions are stated for the colours.
You receive one lure in the chosen size and colour, fitted with sharp treble hooks. The 6.6 cm lure uses size 8 trebles and the 8 cm lure uses size 6 trebles, so selecting a size also determines the supplied hook size.

The Savage Gear Twitch Minnow is a twitchbait for lure fishing for pike, zander and perch. Twitches and jerks make it dart sideways and show its flanks. Its horizontal balance keeps it suspended during retrieve pauses, so you can alternate fast movement with a stationary presentation. The supplier notes that bites often come during these transitions.
The lure is based on a 3D scan of a baby herring, providing detailed baitfish features. A long-cast system helps you reach more distant fishing spots without giving up the twitch-and-pause presentation.
The 6.6 cm version weighs 5 g, runs at 0.5 m and has size 8 treble hooks. Choose it for the smaller baitfish profile and shallower running depth. It is available in Minnow, Lemon Back and Green Silver Ayu.
The 8 cm version weighs 8.5 g, runs at 0.7 m and has size 6 treble hooks. Choose it for a larger profile and a slightly deeper presentation. It is available in Green Silver Ayu, Perch (Barsch) and Roach (Rotauge). Green Silver Ayu is offered in both sizes, so you can change size and running depth while retaining the colour pattern. All versions suspend horizontally on pauses.
Each selected variant includes one lure fitted with sharp treble hooks. Hook size changes with lure size, so check the size 8 or size 6 specification when choosing your version.
