SLOW SEEKER 40G SARDINE
incl. VAT, excl.
The Slow Seeker jig drops through the water column like a falling leaf, giving predators ample time to strike from the moment it touches the surface. Ideal for targeting seabass, bonito, and tuna in shallow coastal waters.
Unlike conventional jigs, the Slow Seeker descends at an exceptionally slow rate with an erratic falling-leaf motion. This unique presentation is highly effective on lazy or pressured fish that won't chase fast-moving lures. Seabass feeding near the surface or at the edge of your casting range have plenty of time to intercept the jig, even in water as shallow as 2 m. Mediterranean species like bonito and tuna instinctively strike at tumbling, injured baitfish – the Slow Seeker mimics this perfectly.
The aerodynamic body design delivers exceptional flight stability and distance in all wind conditions, letting you cover water and reach feeding fish beyond the range of standard jigs. Strong flashing during the descent adds visual attraction and triggers aggressive strikes.
The Slow Seeker range offers four weight classes and multiple colour options to match conditions and target species:
10 g / 3.8 cm (running depth 1–8 m): ultra-light option for calm conditions, shallow water, small baitfish imitations; ideal for seabass and smaller predators in harbours and estuaries
20 g / 4.5 cm (running depth 1.5–12 m): versatile inshore choice for moderate casting distance; suits seabass, small tuna, and bonito in light to moderate wind
30 g / 5.4 cm (running depth 2–17 m): balanced weight for most beach and boat situations; covers mid-range depths and handles moderate wind and current
40 g / 6 cm (running depth 2.5–25 m): the variant described here – Sardine colour, 40 g, 6 cm; excellent for Atlantic beach fishing and Mediterranean bonito/tuna when fish feed near the surface or mid-water; handles stronger wind and allows long casts
60 g / 6.7 cm (running depth 3–30 m): heaviest option for deep water, strong current, or maximum casting distance; targets larger predators and deeper feeding zones
Colour options include Sardine, Blue Glow, Pink Glow, Zebra Glow, White Flash, and Sayoris. Natural patterns like Sardine work well in clear water and bright conditions; glow finishes excel in low light, murky water, or at depth.
