The SGS6 Light Game is a spinning rod for fishing small hard and soft lures in saltwater. Its sensitive Toray 40T carbon blank and fast action support precise lure handling and quick hook setting, with the ability to play larger fish despite the light lure range.
This 2.74 m model has Medium Light power and a 4–16 g casting range. Choose lures within that range. The supplier specifies a line rating of 0.4–0.8 kg.
Fuji stainless steel K guides with SiC (silicon carbide) inserts guide the line, with a guide layout designed for long casts and line management. A Fuji reel seat secures the reel, while EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) handles provide a comfortable grip for repeated casting. The supplier lists a rod weight of 1131 g, which should be factored into the total weight held during repeated casting.
The two-section rod has a transport length of 144 cm. A deluxe rod bag is included for carrying and storing the sections.
