These sea fishing rods are built for modern jigging with speed jigs and soft lures. Their progressive bend brings movement to the lure and helps transmit lure feedback, while reinforced Toray high-modulus carbon blanks provide power for fighting large sea fish.
The 1.8 m 40–120 g model has Medium power and Moderate Fast action for the lighter lure range in this family. The 1.93 m 40–120 g version shares the M and MF model designations and adds a trigger configuration explicitly intended for a multiplier reel. It weighs 188 g and also supports fishing with natural bait.
The 1.8 m 60–180 g model has Heavy power, Moderate Fast action and a weight of 175 g. It covers heavier lures than the 40–120 g versions. The 1.8 m 100–250 g model has Extra Heavy power, Fast action and weighs 256 g. Choose it for the heaviest lure range here rather than for lures below 100 g. Stated line ratings for the 1.8 m models are 1.5–2.5 kg, 2–4 kg and 2.5–5 kg respectively.
