This trolling rod is designed for downriggers, dipsy divers and paravanes in both saltwater and freshwater. Its balanced blank offers a sensitive feel, while the parabolic action bends through the rod under load.
The lightweight construction combines a durable blank with guides and components designed for demanding fishing in rough conditions. The rod weighs 255 g and has an Extra Extra Heavy power rating.
This 2.44 m model has a 20–30 lb line rating, which is a line class rather than a casting-weight specification. Its two-piece construction reduces the transport length to 127 cm, so check that length against your storage space or rod bag.
